West Bromwich Albion manager Pepe Mel has praised his players for showing "good spirit" to pick up all three points in Saturday afternoon's relegation battle against Norwich City.
The Baggies, who won the contest 1-0 at Carrow Road courtesy of Morgan Amalfitano's first-half goal, have moved five points clear of the bottom three in the Premier League.
"A team that has displayed discipline on the pitch and has played as they did today, well and together, demonstrates that there is a good spirit in the camp and that we are a family," Mel is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
"I think the players have shown today exactly what they want and how to go about achieving it. These three points really move us closer to the end and make our route a lot easier."
West Brom are back in action next weekend when they host Tottenham Hotspur.
