Former Santos executive Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro has claimed that Neymar's transfer to Barcelona was finalised following an orgy at a London hotel.

The Brazilian's reported £75m switch to Camp Nou from Santos last year has come under scrutiny in the last few months following allegations of tax fraud.

It has now been reported by the Sunday People that a wild party in the UK's capital, which included escort girls, was held before the deal was completed.

"The fee included 'coffee money' – a tip – for Neymar's father," Ribeiro is quoted as saying. "It also paid for an orgy in London. I don't know why Neymar Snr should have made anything in the deal.

"It was one of the most luxurious hotels, where the Queen's had tea. That £75m was ­excessive. It included hookers and a private jet."

It has not been claimed that Neymar was at the party.
