A section of one of the stadia due to host the 2014 World Cup in Brazil has been forced to close down due to a collapsed stand.
The Arena do Gremio ground was at the centre of controversy when a fence gave way following an 'avalanche' celebration, which involves fans running down the terraces, took place during a clash between Gremio and Liga de Quito last month.
A statement released by the South American Football Confederation on their official website said: "Gremio must close the North sector of the stadium where the avalanche took place in the next match of the tournament.
"Furthermore, the stadium will be automatically closed [for one or more games] if any other similar problem takes place in the next two years."
A number of fans were injured following the collapse.
