Inter Milan have received a £43,200 fine after their fans racially abused AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli at the weekend.
Reports had claimed that a number of Inter fans waved inflatable bananas in Balotelli's direction during Sunday's Milan derby at the San Siro, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Having reviewed the footage, the footballing authorities in Italy have decided that those actions were worthy of a fine.
Balotelli, who began his career with Inter, joined rivals AC last month from Manchester City.
