Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have comfortably defeated Salford Red Devils 42-6 at Bell Vue this afternoon.
The hosts got off to a strong start when Andy Raleigh and Danny Washbrook crossed over with just 16 minutes played to put their side in command.
It got even better soon after when Chris Riley managed to get on the end of Paul McShane's boot into the corner and touch down to extend Wakefield's advantage.
Salford found a route back into the contest courtesy of Harrison Hansen's 48th-minute try, but Dean Collis resumed normal service moments later when he crossed over.
Ali Lauitiiti added the sixth try of the afternoon shortly after the hour mark when he got the better of four opposition players to touch down, while Collis added his second five minutes later.
Late tries from Pita Godinet and Richard Owen rounded off the one-sided affair and helped the Wildcats climb to ninth in the Super League table.
