Leicester Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill has praised his side for battling away to beat London Irish in the Aviva Premiership.
The Tigers maintained their push for a top-four finish on Sunday as they earned a 12-6 win at the Madejski Stadium.
While he admits that his players are struggling to score tries at the moment, Cockerill is happy that they were able to dig in and see off the Exiles.
"You want to score tries and we are not scoring enough tries, but we have a lot of important people missing and that does affect you," he is quoted as saying by PremiershipRugby.com.
"It was a scrappy and ugly game, but we have come away from home and won, and that is the key bit. Finding a way to dig in was really pleasing. It's a win, we'll definitely take it and we are still in the mix."
The result has moved Leicester up to sixth place in the table, one point adrift of the playoff positions.
