London Wasps have extended their lead at the top of Amlin Challenge Cup Pool 3 with a 30-16 win over Bayonne at Adams Park.
The home side started brightly and three penalties from Stephen Jones gave them a 9-0 lead with 15 minutes played.
Elliot Daly's unconverted try on 32 minutes put Wasps further ahead before the centre kicked over a penalty to make it 17-0.
However, Bayonne's revival started on the stroke of half time when Josevata Rokocoko's try was converted by Jacques-Louis Potgieter.
Potgieter then added a further nine points with the boot to whittle down Wasps' advantage.
The hosts had to soak up plenty of Bayonne pressure in the final 10 minutes, but the victory was sealed in the 74th minute as replacement Nick Robinson added the extras to Andrea Masi's score.
Robinson kicked over a penalty in the final stages to cap a winning evening for the English side.
