Saracens have taken a narrow win over Munster in a close-fought match at Vicarage Road in the Heineken Cup.
Saracens could have had a lead at half-time, having looked the stronger of the two sides, but Owen Farrell struggled with the boot, missing a penalty and a drop goal in the opening period.
It was Ronan O'Gara that had kicking problems after the break, missing a late drop goal and penalty, which would have given Munster the lead while Saracens were down to 14 men, thanks to a yellow card for Will Fraser.
There were few try-scoring chances throughout the second half, as mistakes from both sides prevented the play from flowing.
Saracens return to the top of Pool 1, while Munster sit third.
