Worcester Warriors have announced former Gloucester head coach Dean Ryan as the club's new director of ruby.
The 46-year-old's appointment has been confirmed following the departure of Richard Hill this week.
Ryan's last job was part of the Scotland national team's coaching staff during the Six Nations, where the Scots secured their highest finish for seven years, as well as recorded back-to-back victories for the first time in 12 years.
The former number eight, who coached Gloucester from 2005 to 2009, competed for England four times during his playing career.
Ryan will begin his career at Sixways after the final game of the season against London Welsh.
