Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's La Liga clash with Valencia.
Sports Mole

Barcelona will be looking to bounce back from successive defeats when they continue their La Liga campaign at home to Valencia on Sunday night.

Ronald Koeman's side lost 3-0 to Benfica in the Champions League before suffering a 2-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid in the league just before the international break.

The Catalan giants have picked up 12 points from seven matches to sit ninth in the table, and the pressure would again be piled on head coach Koeman if the team are unable to pick up a positive result on their return to action here.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Valencia.

Sergio Aguero

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: October 17 (vs. Valencia)

Summer arrival Sergio Aguero is now back in training after recovering from a serious calf injury and could make the squad against Valencia on Sunday night.

Ousmane Dembele

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: October 17 (vs. Valencia)

Ousmane Dembele, like Aguero, is now back in first-team training, and the Frenchman, who has recovered from a serious knee injury, could be in line to feature against Los Che.

Martin Braithwaite

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Martin Braithwaite recently underwent successful knee surgery, and the attacker will be sidelined until at least the latter stages of 2021.

Pedri

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Pedri was left out of the squad against Atletico before the international break due to a thigh problem, and it is unclear when the Spaniard will be available for selection once again.

Alejandro Balde

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: October 17 (vs. Valencia)

Alejandro Balde was forced off in the first half of the clash with Granada on September 20 due to a back problem, and the teenage defender is again a major doubt for this match.

Ronald Araujo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Central defender Ronald Araujo is facing a period on the sidelines with the hamstring injury that he picked up while representing Uruguay during the international break.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barcelona have no suspension issues ahead of the clash with Valencia.
