Brazil are expected to be without the services of their captain Casemiro for Tuesday's 2026 World Cup qualification fixture with Uruguay.
The Manchester United midfielder suffered an ankle injury during his national side's 1-1 draw with Venezuela last time out, and while it is not believed to be serious, he is unlikely to feature here.
Gerson could therefore be handed a starting role alongside Bruno Guimaraes in midfield, although Andre is also pushing for a spot in that area of the field.
Guilherme Arana is likely to again operate as the left-back, but there will have to be a change on the opposite side due to Danilo picking up a muscular injury against Venezuela.
Danilo has left the camp, and his replacement on the night, Yan Couto, is now set to start.
Marquinhos and Gabriel Magalhaes are likely to feature in the middle of the defence, while there are not expected to be any changes in the final third, with Rodrygo, Neymar and Vinicius Junior set to support Richarlison.
Gabriel Jesus and Matheus Cunha are also options in the final third of the field, but the duo are set to start on the bench once again alongside the likes of David Neres and Raphael Veiga.
