Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez has called on his side to remain focused following Saturday's 3-1 victory over Almeria.
Three straight wins in the league have moved the capital outfit out of the relegation zone in La Liga.
However, Jemez has insisted that recent results will count for nothing if they do not retain their status in Spain's top division come the end of the season.
"I'm happy with the win but no more than at other times. The players know this was an important win but someone has to pour water over the celebrations," he told reporters.
"With 29 points we haven't reached safety yet. But we are in a position to win four straight games, which is something the big teams do.
"Our run of form is similar to last season but beyond the joy of winning, we have to maintain our sanity."
As it stands, Rayo are three points clear of the bottom three.
