Clinton N'Jie replaces Harry Kane up front for Tottenham Hotspur to earn his first start for the club.

Clinton N'Jie will make his first Tottenham Hotspur start in this evening's meeting with Anderlecht in the Europa League.

The summer signing from Lyon, who has made seven substitute appearances for the club since joining, comes into the side in place of the injured Harry Kane.

Kane has been nursing a knock picked up late on against Liverpool over the past few days, with boss Mauricio Pochettino revealing earlier this week that he was a big doubt.

N'Jie will now be tasked with leading the line in the England international's absence, while Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Andros Townsend complete the attacking quartet.

The home side boast two men up top, meanwhile, as Imoh Ezekiel and Stefano Okaka look to get Anderlecht off the mark with their first Group J win this evening.

Spurs have won just one of their last seven away games in the Europa League.

Anderlecht: Proto; Gillet, Kara, Deschacht, Obradovic; Tielemans, Defour, Dendoncker, Praet; Ezekiel, Okaka
Subs: Roef, Nuytinck, Heylen, Acheampong, Conte, Sylla, Kawaya

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Dembele, Dier; Lamela, Eriksen, Townsend; Clinton
Subs: Vorm, Rose, Wimmer, Alli, Onomah, Winks, Kane
