Swansea City defender Angel Rangel believes that the club have proven they are capable of beating top opposition after they trounced Valencia in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The Welsh outfit produced a stunning performance to beat their Spanish opponents 3-0, and Rangel, who was skipper for the night, has admitted that it was one of the proudest moments of his career
The 30-year-old told reporters: "It's a very proud moment for me. I don't think anyone expected what happened, we showed how good we are.
"It's the first time in my career [to be captain] and coming to Spain and winning in a big stadium, and also the way we did, is fantastic."
Swansea top Group A alongside St Gallen, who defeated Kuban Krasnodar.
