Gloucester Rugby have secured a 14-13 win over Exeter Chiefs in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
Matt Jess scored the only try of the first half for the home side, powering his way over despite a tackle a couple of metres from the line.
Rob Cook had added a couple of penalties in the opening 40 minutes and claimed his third early in the second to put Gloucester in front.
The visitors extended their lead just a couple of minutes later as Mike Tindall set Charlie Sharples up for their second try of the match.
Chances remained at a premium throughout the second half, but Don Armand managed to break through the visitors' defences in the final minute of the game.
However, Gareth Steenson could not add the conversion to give the home side the win.
