Sports Mole rounds up the Championship's transfer activity with just three days until the new season kicks off.

With just three days until the new Football League season begins, time is almost up for managers in the Championship to bolster their squad ahead of the big kickoff.

Here, Sports Mole brings you the transfer latest on clubs in the second tier as they gear up for 2014-15.

Birmingham City

After getting the majority of his business done towards the start of the window, it looks like Lee Clark is soon to lose one of his better players. Tom Adeyemi has handed in a transfer request and Cardiff City are leading the pursuit for his signature.

There has also been one arrival at St Andrew's over the past week, with Denny Johnstone leaving Celtic for the Blues.

Blackburn Rovers

Gary Bowyer took Carlos Cuellar and Jordan Spence on trial, but isn't interested in signing Cuellar. Former West Ham United man Spence remains with the Lancashire side and looks set to sign a permanent deal.

One man who won't be appearing in blue and white this season is Leon Best, who has linked up with fellow Championship side Derby County on loan. Anthony O'Connor has also been loaned out to Plymouth Argyle, while Ruben Rochina is back in Spain with Granada after signing a four-year contract.

Blackpool

The Tangerines' scramble to assemble a squad in time for the new season continued with five more arrivals at Bloomfield Road this week. Nathan Delfouneso returned to his former loan club, while Jose Miguel Cubero and Joan Oriol have also put pen to paper on permanent deals.

The other new faces are Donervon Daniels, who has made a short-term loan move from West Bromwich Albion, and Joe Lewis, who joins on a season-long loan from Cardiff City. Jonathan Greening also looks set to become a Seasider, while Faris Haroun reportedly turned down the chance to return.

Bolton Wanderers

Bolton fans must be getting a little frustrated with the slow-going nature of the Trotters' business over the summer. Little action at the Macron Stadium this week, but the club remain interested in again signing Joe Mason from Cardiff City.

Bournemouth

Eddie Howe has declared his happiness at the squad he now has, but further additions could be on the way. Josh McQuoid won't be with the Cherries for the first half of the season as he has moved to Coventry City on loan.

Brentford

Soon after signing a new contract with the Bees, manager Mark Warburton described Wigan Athletic's bid for Adam Forshaw as "unacceptable".

There has also been a signing at Griffin Park, with Finland Under-21 international Daniel O'Shaughnessy joining on a free transfer.

Brighton & Hove Albion

The Seagulls and Middlesbrough continue to do battle in the race to sign central midfielder Adam Clayton from Huddersfield. Brighton are also said to be providing competition to Bolton over the capture of Joe Mason from Cardiff.

Even though Jack Butland has also reportedly interested the Seagulls, the recent signing of David Stockdale suggests that he won't be moving to the Amex.

Cardiff City

The Bluebirds look set to lose two midfielders in the coming days, with Gary Medel in Italy ahead of a move to Inter Milan, while Jordon Mutch is now a QPR player. One other to leave was Jo Inge Berget, who has joined Celtic on loan until January.

Solskjaer is trying to replace Medel and Mutch with Tom Adeyemi, but Birmingham are standing firm even though he's handed in a transfer request.

Charlton Athletic

A stagnant week at The Valley, but the Addicks could be lining up a move for Andy Delort of Tours in France.

Derby County

The Rams managed to tie down teenage striker Mason Bennett and have also added Leon Best from Blackburn.

The striker was brought in on loan and Steve McClaren has suggested that more temporary signings could be on the way.

Fulham

Two out, one in at Craven Cottage this week. Brede Hangeland and Ashkan Dejagah have joined Crystal Palace and Al-Arabi respectively, while Nikolay Bodurov has joined on a three-year contract.

Huddersfield Town

Radoslaw Majewski has moved North from Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan, while Adam Clayton continues to be pursued by divisional rivals Brighton and Middlesbrough. The latter appear to be close to sealing a deal.

Ipswich Town

Mick McCarthy rewarded two triallists - tall Hungarian striker Balint Bajner and midfielder Kevin Bru - that impressed over the summer with permanent deals over the past seven days. Leaving Portman Road is Frederic Veseli, who has joined Port Vale on loan until January.

Leeds United

The pace is really starting to pick up at Leeds as Dave Hockaday continues to build his squad with more and more influence from Serie A. AC Milan teenager Zan Benedicic has been confirmed, while Frederik Sorenson from Juventus is expected to follow.

Closer to home, the Whites brought in Nicky Ajose from Peterborough United, but failed with a move for Chesterfield's Liam Cooper. One departure, with Tom Lees moving down the road to Sheffield Wednesday in South Yorkshire.

Middlesbrough

James Husband completed his move to Teesside from Doncaster Rovers, with Curtis Main going the other way as part of the deal. Emilio Nsue also became a Boro player over the last week.

Boro are now the favourites to hold off Brighton and sign Adam Clayton from Huddersfield. The club are also desperate to keep Ghanaian winger Albert Adomah, turning down a £3m offer from Nottingham Forest for the winger.

Millwall

The addition of Matthew Briggs could be Millwall's last of the summer as Ian Holloway has expressed his happiness with the squad.

Norwich City

Neil Adams still has most of his squad that got relegated last season and there is a new face too after the signing of Gary O'Neil. Another boost for the Canaries is that Ryan Bennett has signed a contract extension.

Leroy Fer could be on his way out, though, and Ricky van Wolfswinkel is close to joining Saint-Etienne in France. One other exit this week, with Carlton Morris joining League Two side Oxford United on loan until the New Year.

Nottingham Forest

A rocky week at the City Ground, with manager Stuart Pearce openly disagreeing with the sale of Karl Darlow and Jamaal Lascelles, who will join Newcastle United but then be loaned back to the club for 2014-15.

The club's efforts to sign Albert Adomah appear to have failed, but they have completed the free signing of Chris Burke.

Two other exits this week, with Radoslaw Majewski going to Huddersfield on loan, while Darius Henderson is now a Leyton Orient player in League One.

Reading

The Royals are probably the quietest club out of the 24, but might make a move for Elliot Omozusi.

Rotherham United

A teenage addition at the New York Stadium this week, with John Swift making a loan move from Chelsea. Three players have also left the Millers on loan - Danny Rowe and Nicky Walker to Wycombe Wanderers and Mitch Rose to Crawley Town.

Sheffield Wednesday

Following his release, Miguel Llera has gone to Scunthorpe United and he was replaced by Tom Lees, who joins the Owls from nearby Leeds United.

The Hillsborough club have also offered triallist Dejan Kelhar a short-term deal.

Watford

There is still interest in Troy Deeney, but Leicester don't appear to be close to agreeing a deal with the Hornets. If Deeney does leave, then the void he leaves could be partially filled by Odion Ighalo, who has joined on loan from Udinese.

Gianni Munari has also come in on loan, while Reece Brown and Javier Acuna have left for Barnsley and Olimpia Asuncion respectively.

Wigan Athletic

Uwe Rosler seems to be pretty content with his Latics squad, but has been pursuing Brentford's Adam Forshaw. He will need to up his bid to convince the Bees to part with the midfielder, though.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

Kenny Jackett is certain that his side are ready for the big kickoff and is intent on keeping Danny Batth, who is reportedly interesting Aston Villa.

Wolves are also holding talks with Max Clayton.
