RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano has emerged as one of the most coveted defenders in world football.
A string of impressive displays in the Bundesliga and Champions League have seen Upamecano's stock rise rapidly in recent seasons, leading to interest from a host of Europe's top clubs.
The Frenchman has a relatively modest release clause of £40m in his contract, although that does not kick in until the summer of 2021.
As such, there is expected to be a scramble for his signature when that clause comes into effect, with the likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea among the European giants thought to be interested.
