Sports Mole picks out the biggest transfer news concerning all 20 of the Premier League clubs from the last seven days.

With the Premier League season less than a week away, managers are starting to put the finishing touches to their squads.

As a result, deals are being completed and fresh speculation is being reported at a rapid rate. Here, Sports Mole has rounded up all the big transfer talking points involving each of the division's 20 clubs from the past seven days.

Arsenal

Following a large amount of speculation, Thomas Vermaelen has ended his five-year association with the Gunners. The centre-back was strongly linked with Manchester United, but after that move fell through, he agreed a switch to Barcelona.

Now, Arsenal's attention will turn to who is going to replace the Belgium international. One player reportedly on Arsene Wenger's wishlist is Liverpool defender Daniel Agger, who is thought to be available for transfer.

Aston Villa

Paul Lambert has been relatively active in the transfer market this summer and that continued on Friday with the arrival of left-back Aly Cissokho from Valencia. The former Liverpool loanee has signed a four-year contract at Villa Park.

In terms of departures, Samir Carruthers and Antonio Luna have left for MK Dons and Hellas Verona respectively, but Lambert has insisted that no offers have been received for Dutch centre-back Ron Vlaar.

Burnley

Having already made six additions to his newly-promoted squad this summer, Burnley boss Sean Dyche has insisted that he has set no limit as to amount of new faces that he is looking to add at Turf Moor.

One player that Dyche appears to be keen to sign is Craig Dawson. However, West Brom are believed to have rejected a third offer from the Clarets for the defender.

Chelsea

Having swooped for Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Filipe Luis, a lot of the transfer speculation at Chelsea centres around which players are going to depart Stamford Bridge.

Goalkeeper Petr Cech is thought to be a target of Real Madrid, while Atletico Madrid are said to be eager to re-sign Fernando Torres. However, despite reports to the contrary, holding midfielder John Obi Mikel is expected to remain with the club.

Crystal Palace

Recent speculation had linked centre-forward Andrew Johnson with a return to Palace, but co-chairman Steven Parish has moved to dismiss those rumours.

One player that could arrive at Selhurst Park, though, is Serge Gnabry. Arsenal are thought to rate the German youngster highly, but would consider loaning him out so that he can gain more match experience.

Everton

Roberto Martinez may have smashed Everton's transfer record already this summer, but he is still eager to add more players to his squad at Goodison Park.

Any new arrival will be able to call John Stones a teammate after the centre-back recently extended his contract with the Toffees. He could soon be joined in committing his future to the Merseysiders by James McCarthy, who Martinez has confirmed will be offered fresh terms.

Hull City

Hull boss Steve Bruce may have been extremely active in the transfer market this summer, but one player that won't be arriving at the KC Stadium is Troy Deeney. Bruce has insisted that, despite reports to the contrary, he has no interest in the Watford striker.

Someone that could be leaving the club, though, is Stephen Quinn. The 28-year-old midfielder is thought to be a target of numerous clubs in both the Premier League and the Championship.

Leicester City

In what would be one of the surprise swoops of the summer, Leicester have been linked with former Inter Milan and Argentina midfielder Esteban Cambiasso. One report has claimed that the Foxes have offered the 33-year-old a £5m contract.

However, Islam Slimani won't be joining the club, according to manager Nigel Pearson, who is thought to be willing to allow Chris Wood to join Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Liverpool

A number of new faces have crossed the Anfield threshold and now it seems that some will be departing. First out of the door could be Lucas Leiva, who is thought to be of interest to former Reds boss Rafael Benitez at Napoli.

Pepe Reina has already left for Bayern Munich, while the likes of Kolo Toure, Daniel Agger and Fabio Borini could soon join the Spanish goalkeeper in leaving the club.

Manchester City

The champions seem to have been chasing Eliaquim Mangala all summer, but Manuel Pellegrini has now revealed that a deal to sign the Porto centre-back is nearing completion.

He will join Bruno Zuculini at the Etihad Stadium after the youngster sealed his switch from Racing Club on Saturday. Now, exits are anticipated, with Javi Garcia being linked with a move to Russia, while Jack Rodwell has signed on at Sunderland.

Manchester United

If speculation is to be believed, Old Trafford is going to be one of the busiest places between now and the end of the transfer window. Arrivals are anticipated, with Arturo Vidal, Daley Blind and Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado all thought to be major targets.

As far as departures are concerned, seven players have reportedly been told by Louis van Gaal that they are not a part of his plans for the new season. Among them are Rafael da Silva, Javier Hernandez and Nani.

Newcastle United

Another week has gone by and it brought with it more new signings at Newcastle. They secured the services of Nottingham Forest pair Karl Darlow and Jamaal Lascelles, but both will remain on loan with the Championship club until the end of the season.

More arrivals are also expected, with manager Alan Pardew thought to be keen to add some pace to his squad. Among those said to be under consideration are Wilfried Zaha, Joel Campbell and Gnabry.

Queens Park Rangers

It's been a busy seven days at Loftus Road, with the club having finalised the arrival of Cardiff City midfielder Jordon Mutch on a permanent basis, while winger Mauricio Isla has signed a season-long loan deal from Juventus.

With Mutch on board, Harry Redknapp is rumoured to have ended his interest in Norwich City's Leroy Fer, with former Swansea City midfielder Jonathan de Guzman now high on his list of targets.

Southampton

Having lost a large number of key players, things are starting to look up for the Saints. He may have cost them a reported £10m, but England goalkeeper Fraser Forster has been signed from Scottish champions Celtic.

There was further positive news in the form of Jose Fonte, who has signed a new contract, but Ronald Koeman's pursuit of Marcos Rojo appears to have hit a stumbling block. According to a report, Sporting Lisbon have rejected a £9.5m bid for the left-back.

Stoke City

There had been reports that USA international Geoff Cameron was eager to leave Stoke, but the defender has insisted that he is "happy" to remain at the Britannia Stadium this season.

Another player that is seemingly staying put is Peter Crouch. It's thought that West Ham are looking to sign the former England international, but he has rejected the switch to Upton Park.

Sunderland

With Rodwell signed, Gus Poyet's attention has turned to other targets. One of those is thought to be Spurs winger Nacer Chadli, who Poyet is eager to sign on a season-long loan basis.

Argentine defender Santiago Vergini has also returned to the club on a loan deal, while both Valentin Roberge and Charalampos Mavrias have both expressed their desires to prove their worth at the Stadium of Light.

Swansea City

De Guzman has spent the past two seasons on loan at the Liberty Stadium, but Swansea boss Garry Monk recently conceded that the Dutch international is unlikely to return for a third spell.

Monk will also have to make do without the services of Chico Flores after the Spanish defender completed his move to Qatari club Lekhwiya, who are managed by former Swansea boss Michael Laudrup. Among the reported list of replacements for Flores is Argentine centre-back Federico Fernandez.

Tottenham Hotspur

Mauricio Pochettino has started to flex his muscles in the transfer market at Tottenham and he is not expected to stop any time soon. One of his main targets is thought to be PSV Eindhoven's Memphis Depay, who recently gave a coy reaction when asked about the move.

Meanwhile, USA right-back DeAndre Yedlin is believed to have had a medical at White Hart Lane, but striker Roberto Soldado could be on the move, with Atletico Madrid said to be keen on his services on a loan basis.

West Bromwich Albion

Full-backs have been on Alan Irvine's agenda recently and the West Brom head coach landed two last week. Arriving at The Hawthorns were Costa Rica international Cristian Gamboa and Australia's Jason Davidson.

Further positive news has been presented by Northern Ireland midfielder Chris Brunt, who has signed a new contract with the Baggies that does not expire until the summer of 2017.

West Ham United

With Andy Carroll injured, Sam Allardyce is known to want to bolster his attacking options at Upton Park. The likes of Crouch, Marco Streller and Hugo Almeida have all been linked with the East Londoners, but their number one target is thought to be Sunderland's Connor Wickham.

Where departures are concerned, after what has been turbulent spell with the club, it would seem that Ravel Morrison's stint as a Hammer could be coming to an end. According to a report, Cardiff City have opened up talks to sign the England Under-21 international.
