Notts County are seeking to extend their unbeaten run of six games when they welcome Yeovil Town to Meadow Lane this Saturday.
The visitors, meanwhile, are aiming to make it back-to-back wins for the first time this season and also pick up their first three points of the campaign away from home.
Match preview
Notts County finished fifth in the National League last season, but they have enjoyed a brilliant campaign up until this point, only losing one game out of the 19 they have played.
Their excellent form means they currently sit top of the National League table, one point ahead of second-placed Wrexham.
Goals from Adam Chicksen and Ruben Rodrigues secured the three points for Luke Williams's side last time out against Eastleigh, meaning they are now unbeaten in their last six games – their last defeat was in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round against Coalville Town back on October 15.
The Magpies will fancy their chances in this clash, as they are yet to lose at home this season in the league, winning seven and drawing two of the nine games they have played at Meadow Lane.
Yeovil, on the other hand, have struggled for consistency this season, winning three, drawing nine and losing seven of their 19 outings so far.
Alex Fisher's brace helped Yeovil to a 3-1 win over fellow National League strugglers Gateshead last time out, giving Mark Cooper his first taste of victory as Yeovil manager.
Will Harris gave Gateshead a 25th-minute lead after being sent through by Lirak Hasani, but Fisher's header in the 31st minute levelled proceedings for the Glovers.
Fisher then doubled his and Yeovil's tally early in the second half when he fired home after good work from Chiori Johnson, before substitute Malachi Linton sealed Yeovil's win, ending a run of seven games in all competitions without a victory.
That result leaves the Glovers sat 19th in the table, only two points above the relegation places.
Cooper's men are yet to win away from home in the league this season, picking up just five points from the nine games they have played away from Huish Park. They face a uphill battle here to get their maiden away win of the campaign.
Team News
Last time out against Eastleigh, Luke Williams made four changes to the side that drew with Southend United, as Tobi Adebayo-Rowling, Connell Rawlinson, Ed Francis and Sam Austin all came into the starting XI.
Williams expressed concerns of fatigue in County's previous two fixtures, but the four players that came into the side against the Spitfires made a case for a starting place against Yeovil this weekend, with Williams insisting he is welcoming a potential selection headache.
Quevin Castro was not able to overcome a shoulder injury to face Eastleigh, and it looks likely he will miss out again here.
Meanwhile, Louis Britton made his debut for the visitors off the bench last time out, after his arrival from Cork City on a free transfer.
Lawson D'Ath, Morgan Williams and Charlie Wakefield all missed the clash with Gateshead due to injury, and they are expected to be absent again here.
Notts County possible starting lineup:
Slocombe; Cameron, Rawlinson, Francis, Chicksen; Brindley, Adebayo-Rowling, Palmer, Rodrigues; Austin, Langstaff
Yeovil Town possible starting lineup:
Smith; Johnson, Bevan, Andrews, Reckford; Hunt, Staunton, Worthington, Georgiou; Fisher, Oluwabori
We say: Notts County 2-0 Yeovil Town
Notts County are in brilliant form, and it is tough to see Yeovil stopping Luke Williams's side from extending their lead at the top of the table.
In addition, Yeovil are currently winless in nine attempts away from home, so we are expecting a comfortable win for the hosts.
