Gameweek seven in the Argentine Primera Division season will see Deportivo Riestra host Argentinos Juniors at Guillermo Laza on Tuesday night.
The home side are in 19th place with six points after the opening six matches, while the visitors are three points ahead of their opponents and are currently in 13th place.
Match preview
After earning promotion to the Argentine Primera Division for the first time in their 92-year history last season, Deportivo Riestra have not found life easy in the top flight.
After a 1-0 win over San Lorenzo in their first ever top-flight match, Blanquinegro suffered four straight defeats across all competitions, including a 1-0 loss to Newell's Old Boys in the Copa Argentina.
Cristian Fabbiani's side bounced back with perhaps the most shocking result in the Argentine top-flight this season, defeating reigning champions River Plate 2-0 before the month-long break.
However, Los Malevos de Pompeya failed to build on the euphoria of that victory, losing 2-1 to Belgrano last time out in their first game after the break.
Riestra have found solace at home so far, with both of their wins coming on home soil, while they lost all three away matches - and they will be hoping to lean on home support once again when they host Argentinos Juniors.
There has only been one encounter between these sides, which came earlier this year in the first phase, and it did not end well for Fabbiani's men, as they lost 2-0, although this was away from home.
Argentinos Juniors have found it difficult to be consistent in the opening six games, alternating between wins and defeats, never repeating a result so far.
Pablo Guede's men had a 100% record on home soil until their last match when they lost 2-0 to Tigre at Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.
However, El Bicho have failed to find their rhythm on the road, having lost both away games so far - 3-0 to Racing Club and 1-0 to Belgrano - without finding the back of the net.
They are now in danger of losing consecutive matches for the first time this season, unless they find a way to stop their poor away form when they return on the road on Tuesday.
Team News
Deportivo Riestra will remain without midfielder Yaison Murillo, who is only expected to return to action in September.
Jonathan Herrera (two goals) has accounted for 50 percent of the goals scored by the home side, and he is the man to match.
The visitors will remain without Santiago Montiel and Luciano Sanchez, who are both missing due to knee injuries.
Jose Herrera will also continue on the sideline, as he is still dealing with muscle issues, while Franco Moyano is still battling illness.
Tobias Palacio and Luciano Gondou are both away on international duty with Argentina, and will not be back until the next couple of weeks.
Deportivo Riestra possible starting lineup:
Arce, Barrionuevo, Sansotre, Torres, Ramirez, Goitia; Celiz, Pereira, Monje; Fernandez, Herrera
Argentinos Juniors possible starting lineup:
Rodriguez; Santamaria, Alvarez, Galvan, Prieto; Oroz, Cardozo, Rodriguez; Lescano, Veron, Romero
We say: Deportivo Riestra 1-0 Argentinos Juniors
Both sides have been strong at home but struggled away from home so far, and if this trend continues, Riestra might just edge this match, although Argentinos Juniors are likely to put up a good fight.
