Varnamo will be aiming to win their third home game of the season when they host Djurgardens IF at the Finnvedsvallen on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last six league outings and will be hoping to extend that run here.
Match preview
Varnamo finished in a respectable 10th position last season following their title-winning campaign in the second tier in the previous year.
Kim Hellberg will be relatively pleased with how his side are performing so far this season, as they currently sit in 11th place, amassing 15 points from 13 games.
A 2-0 victory against Degerfors last time out handed Varnamo their fifth win of the campaign, as well as their fourth clean sheet.
Hellberg's side have been one of the tougher sides to break down in the division, evidenced by the fact that they have only conceded 16 goals in the 13 matches they have played, which should bode well between now and the end of the season with every point gained invaluable towards the bottom of the table.
As for the visitors, they also come into this game off the back of a 2-0 victory over Varbergs BoIS, courtesy of strikes from Jesper Lofgren and Oliver Berg.
As a result, Kim Bergstrand's side are on an unbeaten run of six matches in the Allsvenskan, last tasting defeat against Hammarby in a dramatic 4-3 loss on May 14.
After kicking off the season with just three wins in their opening eight matches, this upturn in form has seen the Jarnkaminerna rise to fifth in the Allsvenskan table on 24 points, five behind third-placed Hacken.
However, Djurgarden are yet to win away from this season, recording two draws and four defeats in their six matches on the road, so Bergstrand will be eager to see his side end that torrid run of form here.
Team News
Gustav Engvall looks set to lead the line for Varnamo, and he will be looking to add to his four league goals so far this season.
Jonathan Rasheed could be recalled to the starting XI after missing the victory against Degerfors, while Victor Eriksson and Emin Grozdanic have started the five matches together in defence, suggesting that they will start on Saturday.
As for the visitors, veteran defender Elliot Kack has been out of action since picking up a knee injury in February's friendly against Varnamo and will play no part for Djurgarden.
With his goal against Varbergs last time out, Oliver Berg now has two goal involvements in his last two matches, so he looks set to lead the line on Saturday, supported in attack by the likes of Joel Asoro and Haris Radetinac.
Varnamo possible starting lineup:
Rasheed; Larsson, Eriksson, Grozdanic, Bergh; Thern, Nasstrom, Wenderson; Ademi, Johansson, Engvall
Djurgardens IF possible starting lineup:
Zetterstrom; Johansson, Lofgren, Danielson, Andersson; Bergvall, Schuller, Eriksson; Radetinac, Berg, Asoro
We say: Varnamo 1-1 Djurgardens IF
Varnamo's primary concern this season is survival, so we can see them adopting a safety-first approach to this match.
In addition, Djurgarden are still winless away from home, and both sides are tough to break down, making for a low-scoring contest.
