After a stop-start Copa America, Lionel Messi finally moved into second place on his own in the all-time standings for international goalscorers on Tuesday night.
The legendary Argentina forward had been level with Iran's Ali Daei throughout the tournament, failing to score against Canada, Chile and Ecuador ahead of the semi-final clash with the first of those three sides.
Messi also missed a game with Peru, an added frustration, but the former Barcelona star ended the wait to move into second spot behind Cristiano Ronaldo at the MetLife Stadium.
Argentina were already a goal to the good against the Maple Leafs when Messi got on the scoresheet in the 51st minute, putting the world champions into a lead which ultimately proved to be unassailable.
Despite the game being wrapped up in the closing stages, Messi would complete the match, with his nation now in line to face either Uruguay or Colombia in the final on Sunday.
Below, Sports Mole invites you to attempt to name each of the other names at the top of the all-time list.
