Can you name every member of Liverpool's squad for the 2001 UEFA Cup final?

To celebrate Robbie Fowler's 45th birthday, Sports Mole challenges you to name Liverpool's matchday squad from the 2001 UEFA Cup final win over Alaves.

Arguably the greatest UEFA Cup final in history took place on May 16, 2001, as then four-time champions of Europe Liverpool overcame the plucky underdogs of Alaves 5-4 at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund.

Gerard Houllier's Reds were gunning for their third trophy of the season and a third UEFA Cup crown in what was their first European final since the Heysel disaster in 1985, whereas Alaves were appearing in a first European final ever.

It looked early on as though it would be a cruise for Liverpool as they raced into a 2-0 lead, and then went into half time with a 3-1 advantage, but a quickfire Javi Moreno brace within five minutes of the start of the second half brought things level.

Liverpool then made it 4-3 with 18 minutes to go, only to be dramatically pegged back by Jordi Cruyff - son of Johan Cruyff and previously of Manchester United - in the 88th minute to force extra time.

Already one of the most action-packed finals ever, there was another twist in the tale too as Delfi Geli's own goal deep into extra time handed Liverpool the trophy on the golden goal rule, completing the treble and taking them level with Inter Milan and Juventus as the most successful clubs in the competition's history.

To mark the 23-year anniversary of the unforgettable contest, Sports Mole is challenging you to name every member of the Liverpool squad that night in Dortmund.
